What a week, what a weekend! I’m over the moon at the response to my Head Shave for CMRF. It has been such a truly magnificent experience!
Happy Monday! I hope you and yours are all safe and well and ready to kick into another week of summer (here’s hoping the good weather has returned for a while again!
From my cozy bed, with a cup of tea in my hand, I write this letter with an indescribable amount of love in my heart for the support and donations I’ve received for CMRF Crumlin.
As you can see from the pictures, the gruaig is no longer, following a stellar job with the razor from my husband Davey.
I was a wreck with nerves on Saturday morning and woke up at silly o’clock (hence the early email!) I had a stern chat with myself then, reminding myself of all of the people out there who don’t get the choice to do this “for fun”.
My two best friends came down for support (and technical assistance in the form of camera crew and co-host thank you ladies!) and as 1 o’clock approached the jitters and energy was very real!
After a quick “who’s doing what” talk, we hit “Go Live” across the different social media accounts and well, the rest is history!

We raised over €4,000 for CMRF !
This was such a whim and it’s a testament to how wonderful and generous people are even during these uncertain times.
To everybody who got in touch with me and shared their personal stories of Crumlin, thank you for sharing. I know it’s not easy to talk sometimes so thank you.
So for the coming weeks my head will be rocking the “Sineád-Do” as my friends have been saying!
And, my body will be rocking the happiest heart with sincere thanks to you x
