Johnny Magory is 2 Today!

Johnny Magory is 2 today! I’m so grateful to be celebrating our official second birthday today, 1st April 2021. I am also forever grateful for all of the support I’ve received since taking the leap and leaving my corporate career behind me.
What a whirlwind the last 2 years have been, this late year, in particular, has been incredible for us as a business in spite of the pandemic and it’s all thanks to you.

Creating With Grá

I surprised myself when we made this short video of everything we have created.
I am most proud of the happy childhood memories we have created and resurged for so many people.
Here’s a whistlestop tour of what’s been created and again sincere thanks for the support in helping me do what I love.

AND FINALLY…

  • The development of the Johnny Magory TV Animation Series has begun with Elk Studio thanks to Screen Ireland funding.

The Future

It’s been incredible and I’m beyond excited for the future and what it will bring.

  • Our next book The Farmyard Féasta will be with us in a few days.
  • A brand new picture book called Ode to a Tomboy will be with us in May.
  • Our Johnny Magory Christmas story is being illustrated now by the amazing Kim Shaw.
  • And working on the animation with Ian and the team at Elk Studios is going to be such a fun journey.

To celebrate, we’ve got 10% off the online store https://johnnymagory.com this week. Use the coupon BIRTHDAY at the checkout.

Thank You’s

None of this would be possible without the support and dedication of Amanda Delaney who really and truly is the brains behind the operation. Thank you Amanda.

Also to Caoimhe Flanagan who’s become a huge part of the Hedge School business editing all the wonderful new children’s books we help create.

It also wouldn’t be possible without my friends and family who never stop encouraging me and rolling up their sleeves when needs be. Thank you all there’s too many to list but you know who are you.

I’ve been incredibly lucky to participate in some of the most fantastic entrepreneurial programmes in Ireland. DCU Ryan Academy Female High Fliers programme, Enterprise Ireland’s New Frontiers, Acorns Female Entrepreneurs and so many more fantastic programmes and courses from the Kildare LEO. The coaching and mentorship I’ve received from so many amazing people during these courses has been paramount to the businesses success. Thank you all.

I’m also so grateful to be a member of fantastic networks such as Guaranteed Irish and Network Ireland Kildare who continually support and encourage our business.

And to all the amazing contractors and behind the scenes people I work with from our amazing illustrator Kim Shaw to our PR team to our Accountants and Printers and everything in between… Thank you all.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
